My Approach
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness Training & Somatic Processing
Supporting Colorado adults, young adults and couples in improving their relationships, finding peak performance, healing from anxiety, depression or burnout, and deepening their connection with themselves
You know that something needs to change.
Old patterns keep repeating themselves in your relationships and the feeling of stuck-ness is overwhelming.
Unprocessed experiences have left you feeling lost, lonely, and disconnected from your life’s greater purpose. The recent changes in your life have uncovered some difficult emotions and unresolved issues from the past that are holding you back from moving forward.
Your lack of confidence is getting in the way of reaching for the things you truly want.
Feeling run down or anxious due to sucky relationships, traumatic experiences, or grief may be holding you back from feeling authentically engaged in life. Your free spirited nature you once connected with is feeling buried underneath disappointments and the world is weighing heavier than normal.
Are you thinking, how did I get here? It’s normal to downplay your feelings and try to tough it out. However, this isn’t the path forward. You ARE worthy of love and attention, and you don’t need to be afraid to be seen by others when you’re not at your best.
I’m here to help you cultivate the confidence you need to take the leap in claiming the life you want (and deserve!).
Katie Bennett, LPCC, NCC offers virtual therapy in Denver Colorado for anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship counseling and more.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Somatic Processing & Mindfulness Training
Somatic therapy engages the mind-body connection to express deeply painful or traumatic experiences, applying healing to aid with trauma recovery. If you are familiar with or enjoy mindfulness, this will be a helpful tool in your therapeutic work.

I do not directly bill insurance companies for my services at this time. I can provide “superbills” or detailed receipts to clients. If a client’s insurer provides “out of network benefits,” (some insurance companies offer this and others do not) clients can submit a superbill to their insurer and get reimbursed for a large portion of their therapy costs. This reimbursement process is between the client and their insurance company, but I am happy to discuss what I know about this process with clients.

I accept all major credit cards as well as FHA and HSA cards. I process payment electronically after each session through my client portal.

This varies greatly from client to client. I believe establishing a therapeutic relationship takes time and that slowing down is an important aspect of making space for new perspectives and change. I also believe clients should only attend therapy for as long as they find it helpful. You attend as many sessions as you like without any obligation to continue.

I only provide services to residents of Colorado in compliance with my professional license.
